Here we go again....

Summer is almost over! It seems like only yesterday I was writing about the school year ending. Aaaahhhhh! I have really enjoyed the precious time I've spent with my favorite little girl, Linley, and my family and friends. We've stayed busy, that's for sure! We've been to Aruba (for our 10 year wedding anniversary), Disney, and the beach! I'll be returning back to work a little more tan, happy, and refreshed.  I am excited about what this school year will hold! After 10 wonderful years of teaching 3rd grade, I was ready for a change so now I'm blessed to have the opportunity to teach the sweeties of 2nd grade. I hope the students are as excited to have me as their teacher as I am about having them in my class. I look forward to meeting each of them and maybe even getting a hug in the process. :) Here are some facts about me you may want to know: Favorite color-turquoise  Favorite restaurants/food-Moe's (actually this is Linley's favorite), sushi, Chick-fil-A, any Mexican, and any sweets!  Favorite things to do; playing with Linley, reading books on my Kindle, making photo books, and spending time with family and friends. My dad was a coach so I grew up around sports and love them all.  I especially love football and the USC Gamecocks. I grew up in District 2 schools and am very blessed to still live and work here.
